The Apple Public Relations Group (APR) will offer public relations services for Apple in a variety of areas including marketing, public affairs, media, social media and partnerships, according to a release from Apple.APR will focus on media and communications as well as marketing, according the release.

Apple has recently launched a new product line, iBooks, in a bid to promote its online stores and to gain a foothold in digital media.
Apple’s latest iPad models, with a screen resolution of 16.9 inches, are priced at $499.
The iPad Air with Retina Display has a 12.9 inch display, with pricing starting at $699.
Apple is also partnering with a number of online retailers, including Best Buy, Amazon, Target, Amazon.com and Walmart, to promote the new iBooks line.
Apple also recently announced a partnership with the U.K. to launch its own version of Apple’s iBooks app.
