Tesla Motors is reportedly trying to push you to purchase a Model III.
The company has a few more vehicles in the works before the first Model 3 will hit the market, and the latest report from Axios says the company is preparing to sell a Model S sedan that could debut at the Detroit Auto Show in 2019.
The article states that Tesla is planning to unveil its next-generation Model S in 2019 with a new roof, a redesigned chassis, and a new rear-seat seating position.
The car will be called Model S, the company says.
Tesla plans to release the new model in 2019, but we don’t know when exactly that will happen, Axios writes.
The automaker already has a Model X crossover, and Model S owners will be able to purchase it in 2019 for $55,000 more than the Model 3, Axio says.
The Model 3 is currently slated to go on sale in 2019 and will cost between $60,000 and $70,000, with the top-end model priced at $100,000.
